International Student Unit
International Student Unit (ISU) caters to all the needs of foreign students in Gullas. It is a fully dedicated office within the campus that provides for admissions, VISA, student guidance and other necessities.
Students are free to visit the office at any time for their needs. The ISU has both Filipino and Foreign staff, happy to help you with your academics and student life.

You may also come meet us at the campus, the International Student Unit Office is on the Ground Floor of the Main building. Our student coordinators will be happy to show you around the campus.
Accommodation and Hostel
All enrolled students may stay in the Hostel Building within the campus. It is a safe, silent and cozy space for student’s to study and rest. Accommodation is limited and will be alloted on a first come first serve basis.
The hostel has a mess/eatery on the ground floor with professionals that provide for homely Indian meals every day.
I completed my Plus 2 (12th Grade), Am I eligible to apply for Medicine in Gullas?
A bachelors diploma or pre-med course is mandatory to join the Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program in any Filipino medical school.
If you have completed your Grade 12 (+2 / 12th Standard), you can join the 1.5 year Bachelor of Science (B.S.) course, after which you may directly join 1st year M.D. at UV Gullas.
The B.S. course takes place in the same campus as the College of Medicine.
What is NMAT? Do I need NMAT to join medicine?
The National Medical Admission Test or NMAT is a mandatory requirement for all students applying to study medicine in the Philippines.
- The NMAT must be written before applying to the Gullas College of Medicine.
- If you are enrolled in the B.S. program at Gullas or any other school, you may register and give the NMAT exam during the course.
- You can register for NMAT online here: https://www.cem-inc.org.ph/nmat/
- The cut-off (required score) for admission in Gullas is 40.

What happens if I have below 40 in NMAT?
You may still join 1st year medicine, but must repeat the NMAT exam again and get the required score.
